WHY THERE IS NO ONLINE PETITION
The Legislative Assembly require original signatures.
Saskatchewan petitions must be signed in person and include your address. Completed paper petitions must be mailed by November 23 to the Archdiocese of Regina, 200–2151 Scarth Street, Regina, SK S4P 2H8.
✓ Signers must live in Saskatchewan.
✓ Each person signs for themselves, in blue or black ink.
✓ Print the full name and street address clearly, including city or town.
✓ Partly filled sheets still count. Send them in as they are.

WHAT THE PETITION ASKS FOR
Two protections
Two protections. One simple principle: no one should be pressured.
1.
How MAiD is raised with patients
The campaign proposes that MAiD be discussed when a patient raises it or identifies it as part of their goals of care, rather than being introduced unsolicited.
2.
How healthcare professionals participate
The campaign is also seeking protections for healthcare professionals who decline participation in MAiD because of professional or conscientious judgment.
